WHO BELONGS TO VBIA?
Everyone interested in encouraging entrepreneurship and small business development including:
- Business assistance professionals
- Business incubator boards and staff
- Economic development professionals
- Professional service providers like law firms, banks, and CPA’s
- Universities, consultants, and training providers
- City and county executives, chamber of commerce officials, economic and industrial development authority members, and elected officials
Types of Membership:
Regular Member: Any reputable Business having an interest in business incubation and are willing to work in the furtherance of the purposes and objectives of the VBIA shall be eligible for membership. "Business" shall mean any firm, individual, organization, or other entity. These Regular Members shall be entitled to vote and to hold office in the organization.
Annual Dues $100.00
Associate Member: Business with multiple employees may add up to 5 associate members. Membership shall be conditioned upon someone being a Regular Member. Associate members May vote and be a board member, but not entitled to hold office.
Annual Dues: $75.00
Student Member: Student Members of the VBIA are those individuals who are enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in small business affairs, entrepreneurship studies or similar courses. These Student Members shall not be entitled to vote and shall not be entitled to hold office. Student memberships are free of charge.
